The next one I get will be stainless steel to keep it hot longer, but I bought this one because it was a great price and does the job. It washes out easily but you do have to put the coffee into an insulated cup to keep it warm for longer periods of time, I drink my coffee slow. I recommend this to anyone who wants a better tasting coffee. I really like this coffee press, I have been using it for months now and I only need 1 or 2 cups of coffee in the morning. This is perfect for what I need.
The frother doesn't steam the milk, like a cappacino, but it blends and aerates. The french press works well as does the frother.
If used correctly, I cannot see it falling apart. The frother is powerful and easy to control and the french press works like a charm and is well made. We recently purchased the Bonjour Hugo 2-Piece Coffee Press and Frother Set and absolutely love it. Even though the french press has had mixed reviews I ordered this set anyway because it was the same price or less than many of the frothers alone.
Coffee made in this coffee press does not get bitter like it does in an electric pot because it doesn't cook. I haven't used the frother yet. I love it and would buy from this seller again. I bought the Bonjour Hugo coffee press with frother. The size is perfect for me as I do not make a lot of coffee at a time.
Frother works great too. Made from very durable plastic. Never really used another press, so I can't compare it to the more expensive models, but it works just fine for me. Made several cups of coffee with no grounds.
